Introduction

Probe2GO is a server that distributes Gene Ontology annotations that we predict for Affymetrix DNA microarray probe sets using data deposited in a number of databases.

The predicted annotations and the evidence leading to them can be accessed by probe set identifier, but it is also possible to link directly to the evidence.

How to link

For a generic probe set identifier PROBEID the set of annotations can be obtained via:

for instance, for the probe set 219280_at the link is

For a generic DNA chip CHIP, a GO identifier GOID (of the form GO:nnnnnnn), and a probe set identifier PROBEID, the types of evidences linking to them can be viewed at:

```
