Introduction
Transcription Sailor is a web server that distributes predictions of alternative
3'UTR endings for the whole transcriptome. The predictions are obtained using
non redundant ESTs and valid Polyadenylation signals upstream of the candidate cleavage site
(see reference for more information).
Using the following parameters, we can change the prediction degree of confidence:
MIN_ESTS a minimum number of ESTs compose every cluster
MIN_ESTS_IN_POS the prediction contains a minimum number of ESTs ending in the same position
PAS there is a verified polyadenylation signal between 10 and 30 nt upstream the cleavage
FILTER FALSE PRIMING it does not take into account ESTs that have long polyadenylation tracks in their corresponding genome alignments
Some plot options
The plot can show different features. In general
the bars in the positive y-axis corresponds to the + strand and the ones in the negative y-axis
corresponds to the antisense strand.
